Tropic Isle Hotel & Apartment

Excellent location, less than a block from the beach!

Pros: Excellent location, less than a block from the beach. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, helping us with all our needs and questions! The room was very clean and comfortable for two people. Keep in mind… it’s not a five-star hotel and could use some renovations, but the value for money and location are unbeatable. I highly recommend it!

We like this hotel a lot

Pros: The property manager was very nice. He helped us a lot. We got easy check-in and check-out. He always fulfilled our needs. We got a good car parking spot. The room was clean. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is just next to the beach. To restaurants, a one-minute walk distance only. This hotel is so good.

all in all, a good stay, we got good value, even without the benefits of an overhead shower.

Pros: Great location super close to the beach and Broadwalk. Very comfortable bed, and all was clean. Fridge in room was nice and quiet. A/C in good shape. The kitchen equipment was older but all worked fine. There could have been a little more equipment (only two knives, two forks, etc.) and the frying pan should really be replaced. However, the water was good and warm, and all was as described (except for the bikes).

Cons: Other than receiving the code for the apartment easily, we had a hard time communicating with the host. In the description we saw that they offered bikes, but they didn't. The office was mostly abandoned, no one to talk to. The door mechanism was not easy to figure out, we managed to figure out the opening eventually (arriving at 10:30pm) but not the locking of it from the outside. A random person only speaking Spanish was kind enough to help us figure it out. Not sure he was even affiliated with the hotel in any way. The next day we overheard other guests teaching each other how the door mechanism worked. We also never figured out how to make the water come out of the shower head, only the bathtub faucet. We could not find a single soul to speak English to us. The cleaning staff only spoke Spanish but was gone by the time I had my sentence together in Spanish. It seems as though just a few more explanations would have gone a long way, as well as a bit more staff presence. Removing the claim of bicycles from the description would be more upstanding.

Pros: It was very close to the beach , 200 meters , Clean room and comfortable bed . Shampoo and soap was provided . AC unit was quiet . Nice kitchenette with utensils and plates , microwave and big fridge .

Cons: It was a little outdated , needs some TLC . Paint was cheeping off in few areas , old doors to the bathroom , mirror was standing on the floor instead of hanging .

Pros: La comodidad en todo el alojamiento, la cercanía a la playa. El paseo marítimo está a dos pasos. Tiene estacionamiento.

Pros: The views and the fact ur feet away from Hollywood Beach! Mateo was amazing, and the room had a full kitchen! It's between a blessing here every year for 4 years now:)

Cons: 20$ за паркинг, конечно… с учетом того, что в отеле только спишь)) но если пользоваться муниципальным, получается дороже в три раза
