Great stay for a pre or post cruise stay

Pros: Great staff, perfect location for a pre or post cruise, good breakfast with plenty of options. Big room, comfy bed.

Cons: Bath towels are on the small side. Pool is small but clean and warm.

My stay at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale was super.

Pros: The location of the hotel is superb. It was just 20 minutes to Port Everglades cruise terminal and that made so convenient to us as our pre cruise hotel. The view of the ocean from our room was heavenly.

Cons: I can hardly think of any downside.

Would stay again

Pros: Great location right opposite the beach. Easy access to Inter Miami for the football. Good pizza and chicken restaurants just yards away, plus the World Famous Parrot Lounge pub is right behind the hotel, which has good food, good beers, great staff and lots of screens to watch your favourite sports, including English football matches. Miami is easily accessible too.

A really nice, good quality hotel at which we would stay again

Pros: We had a lovely room that was opposite the beach and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops

Cons: The pool area was quite small and there was no real quiet area for adults, especially noisy and busy with families with young children

Everything we needed

Pros: Nice big room. Plenty of space. Fabulous view of the beach! Close to shops and restaurants. Food was good in the restaurant and we enjoyed our breakfast there too. 15 mins in an Uber to the cruise terminal. Worked for us.

Cons: Horrible packets of milk powder in room for coffee instead of cream. It was ok though as they had a coffee station down in the foyer that we were able to get coffee with cream. So overall, no real complaints.
