Pros: We were upgraded to a suite and the room was perfect. Great shower, very good lighting, comfortable bed. The crew helped with good places to eat and travel. Close to the beach and Espaniola way and shopping on Lincoln Ave.
Cons: No breakfast but there are some nice place nearby.

That’s what I call a vacation!
Pros: Spent a week in Marlin Hotel and it was wonderful! The best location you could think of on South Beach! 3 minutes walk to the ocean, lots of groceries and cafes around. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels (for extra charge, but for us it was already included in our price by booking.com). This “extra” also includes coffee capsule machine in the room. We lived in a modern, clean and spacious room with very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our late evenings after long walks watching TV in couch zone. Amazing service. Flawless daily cleaning, nice staff on reception desk (24/7).
Cons: The fridge could suddenly turn noisy. Specifically in our room that looked in between buildings we’ve heard constant hum noise from the street conditioner (not very loud though). If not for these small but a bit irritating things, I would mark Marlin as a strong 10/10.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Location and art deco design. Close to the beach and restaurants. Loved the magnifying mirror.
Cons: Need to hang out your “make my room up” sign or you won’t get your room serviced.

An oldie, but for how long still?
Pros: The ambiance, the location, the sweetness of the staff, the umbrellas and beach gear
Cons: The horrible Italian restaurant that is growing like a fungus, forces you navigate the entry and exit from the hotel, and which has started to destroy the art deco wonders of this hotel for a faux locandiera con garlic horror.
