Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

Excellent choice for a pre-cruise stay.

Pros: I chose this hotel for the price, the free shuttle from the airport and the free breakfast included. Definitely would recommend this hotel. I flew in to go on a cruise and needed one night's accommodation near the port. The evening receptionist - Angela Ramirez - was so friendly and helpful when I called from the airport for the free shuttle. Then she was lovely when I arrived and booked in. The room was great. Much more than I needed. Great to have the microwave to heat my dinner. The bed was very comfortable and I fell asleep straight away. Didn't hear any noise from the nearby highway. The free breakfast was great too. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. As long as you get there when the food is just being brought out, it will be steaming hot. Loved the DIY waffle maker. Fun and tasty. Plenty of fruit juices to choose from, as well as various teas and coffee.

Cons: Prior to my trip, I did send a couple of emails asking about the free shuttle, which went unanswered. But when I called from the airport, I was told where to find the shuttle. The inside roof of the microwave needed a clean, otherwise the room was spotless. I mentioned it to reception when I left.

Pros: Everything about the hotel was great, staff was very helpful and kind , I will definitely stay here again with my husband next time, I felt at home.

Cons: The room and while entering the suit and seeing my name welcome on the television, I feel appreciated and welcome; the lovely suite is so me.

Was fine no issues, clean and helpful employees

Pros: Breakfast was fine, location was okay not much around except other hotels

Pros: We enjoyed sitting in the large lobby listening to other cruisers stories.

Cons: Breakfast was busy and the young girl struggled to keep things full and tables clean. Definitely not her fault she just needed more staff support.

Cons: Minor room (kitchen) cleaning issue first day of stay. Rectified immediately, no problems afterwards

It was my second experience first was at Orlando location which made me choose them in Fort Lauderda

Pros: Variety of Breakfast, vicinity to the airport, shopping plazas etc

Cons: Nothing I can think of right

Great Stay Excellent Location for in transit travellers

Pros: The rooms were great and the service was excellent. The fitness gym was good, but lacked weights and cleanup wipes but was well maintianed.

Cons: The airport shuttle service needs to be more frequent than the top of the hour.

Nice Hotel, Beware the free shuttle!

Pros: Breakfast was good, room was extra big, bed was comfortable.

Cons: Nothing was nearby, nowhere to walk to. Free shuttle was terrible. We waited for over an hour at the airport after calling. We would up paying another hotel shuttle bus to take us to hotel.
