Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

Great pre cruise Hotel

Pros: Rooms were comfortable and spacious, breakfast was good

Good stay

Pros: Rooms were good size and were very comfortable. Bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and soap. Iron and ironing board in room along with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good breakfast included. Uberx to cruise port $14 or you can use the hotel shuttle bus at a fee

Would happily stay again!

Pros: Room very comfortable enjoyed the living area and bed area was all clean. Room was a little noisy could hear outside traffic noise but it settled down by around 11pm both nights, generally it was a good sleep to the morning. The room we had was on ground floor and next to a conference room where Christians met and we could hear them singing and loud music from around 9am on the second morning which was a Saturday. The room had a desk in it, plenty of plug sockets and was comfortable. We would stay there again. They kindly let us store our baggage after checking out as we could go off do some shopping to kill time while our flight home to UK was later in the evening and they did not charge us for that facility.

Cons: Outside noise mostly from traffic Breakfast area is way too small for the size of the hotel and difficulty getting a table. No enough staff cleaning tables and checking on things running out causing us and other guests to get a bit upset. No forks one day, No hot-water water another day but the staff that were there were trying their best.

Overall comfortable stay. Recommended for solo traveler and travelling for work.

Pros: Excellent location. Some Staff, front desk specially and airport transport staff. Breakfast on time. Internet.

Cons: Limited breakfast selection. Gym. Pool.

I will not reserve at Hyat

Pros: Breakfast was as expected. Location was very good.

Cons: Didn't like room design. Need at least 3 drawers out of the bathroom area. You can reach only half of the closet. Bathroom door opens to the wrong side, you have to jump practically over the toilet to get in.

Worth the price

Pros: Clean and great staff nice pool Great location close to stores

Cons: The breakfast was mid The shuttle service was a bit complicated

Short stay / afaquate

Pros: We left to catch a plane & too early for any breakfast / the agent on duty that early morning was really friendly / he was the first friendly agent we had come across. The ones on duty the day before were not friendly. Very grumpy if asked a question

Cons: We were arriving early from a cruise & we knew we had to get up at 3 am / so I had requested to try to get in to our room a couple of hours earlier than usual but they refused ahead of time. Said we could leave our luggage in lock up but that was not a help to 2 tired travellers. We didn’t know the area / the food on the property wasn’t available until after 5 pm. We wanted to have an early supper & go to sleep. Liked the extra mirror outside the bathroom that was very small

Fair value but nothing special.

Pros: Close to Dania Pointe for shops & restaurants to walk to. Fair value. Excellent cruise transfer system (also to FL airport).

Cons: Road noise - might be tempted to book the sister hotel on the other side. It is a little dated. Second morning they had no tea (apart from fruit) at breakfast - crisis for a Brit! Server shrugged when telling me no further stock!
